When we started looking for ways to meet other Zambians we often had to settle for a Nigerian or Kenyan community just to preserve our identity as Africans. Imagine the look of surprise people gave us when we asked for a Mosi?

Why should meeting Zambians be so hard? Why was there no central place for Zambians to meet online? Why did old friends and family move or travel and not remember to give us their new contact information? Why do I have to compromise my culture and heritage just to meet some new people? More questions were asked and less answers were found. It took some time but finally someone said why not build a place for Zambians. A place where every Zambian feels at home. A few months later and Bwanji.com was born.

As many of us know, the best relationships are those you never stop working to make better. Yet, for many Zambians, staying in touch with loved ones or even meeting other Zambians is becoming increasingly difficult. Bwanji.com was created to bring Zambians together by providing you with the means to keep working on your relationships. Bwanji, which means hello in Nyanja was designed to bring Zambians closer together by offering services to build relationships.

Since the site was designed with your needs in mind, every feature was designed to give you easy and immediate access to build new relationships with other Zambians.

Our vision is based on understanding the needs and concerns of single Zambians all over the world by providing a pleasant, satisfying, and superior matchmaking experience to our customers while zealously protecting their privacy and security.

We take pleasure in welcoming you to Bwanji.com and wish you fun as you mingle and make connections with Zambians across the world.

    Sincerely

    The Bwanji.com Team

    SOSSA VS BWANJI.COM

I wish to thank the guys who have been working tirelessly to have Zambian abroad and home share issues which are too many to mention. The upgrading of Sossa to bwanji is such a remarkable achievement in as far as IT (web design) is concerned. The flexibility of the Bwanji.com accompaned by a number of features, enabling the user to modify to suit his/her preferences is a score on its own. However, it would have been better if the name SOSSA was maintained as its domain, becuase the name Bwanji is used in many countries including Malawi, South Africa etc. Having said this...Bwanji.com!! we welcome you as Zambia the real Africa....

Novix - THANK YOU. As you can tell we've been itching for a while to get this site up and available. We actually started working with various layouts before and ended up having to choose a prebuilt package to get up and running as soon as possible. We are proud of Zambia and will do everything possible to showcase that to the world.

As for the domain name sossa.com - unfortunately it was already taken which is why we went for bwanji.com However, rest assured the old sossa chat room is being revived as well.

God willing, we hope that bwanji.com will help connect Zambians across the world.
