I had a terrible dream last night, so it got me thinking... What do dreams mean? will my nightnmare come true? If dreams tell us the future can I stop it from happening?...or a am I doomed to....well never mind what to. What do dreams mean?

My life hinges on the principles and ethos of christianity and i take it that you too believe in "Him" who's able to do all the great things we have had a priviledge of experiencing in life.

Let not your heart be troubled by a small issue like a dream infact let you dream trigger you to give thanks to the Lord for all the great things he hath Done.

Hello! Thats not an issue u should worry about. Ofcourse sometimes, and rarely so dreams can predict the future. I once dreamt of a place I had never been to and after months found myself there! it was so strange. Sometimes dreams also are made up of what goes on in our minds, both concious and unconcious. If for example you keep thinking about someone all the time, chances are you will dream about them too. However a nightmare shouldnt cause you any worry about it coming true.

In any case dreams are stuff the mind relives in its subconcious. But be mindful too that God can speak to you in a dream. And so can the devil too.
But if you are a child of God well you can fight these things, i mean you will be able to decern what is right and or wrong.
Keeping dreaming but dont think whatever you dream is gonna happen... maybe may not be. Trust God to help you see what exactly is to happen. In short am telling you to pray and keep praying ....Live in God's will.

Dreams like always can either be good or bad but believe me its good to dream. Bibilically dreams where and are still usedby God to speak to people about certain things which happened and those yet to happen. Take for instance Joseph, He dreamt about how he was going to be and live and for sure he became.

The Devil will use dreams to scare you and win you in that he knows theys power in dreams. When ever one begins to dream abt scarely dreams, jst know there is an involvement of the devil because God promises us sweet dreams in the book of Joel.

So Dream and dream big of what you what you want to become. When you feel like you cant dream coz you are scared, ask God to give you sweet dreams.

If inspired by God they will show you what is yet to be or what you should pray about to become. But I would not in anyway entrust my life to dreams, just as much as i would not want to believe what the horoscopes says. God should be your trust and your Hope. If he chooses to speak to you through His word or through dreams thats His choice. But dont limit your self to one thing.

On the other note, Dreams in natural sense should then be what we desire to become in life. Hey , note also that just as Joseph in the Biblke was hated for dreaming big the world also does not like big dreamers. Most people who are lazy and comfortable in the less lives hate other who aspire and aim high.
My advice is Be a dreamer and keep on aiming high.

All of us have a opportunity to become anything in this world...positive or negative. Take your positive chances and build your life to make the world a better place.
By the way has anyone thought of what we happen after Bill Gates? Someone must be dreraming to pass that mwe. If not all of us must go start Dreaming.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Does the society has a part to play in helping them that dream and aim high to achieve their dreams and aimed purposes??? or is it one of the vises that discourage people from dreaming and if so what next coz sometimes people who have had dreamt and aimed higher have failed why do you think it is so?????

hi...im new and actually i took a class this year...your dreams are bits and pieces of your memories being mushed together in a bunch. so its not like your future but your past mixed up with alot of your hopes...

what abt dreaming something you never seen or done before and has something to talk abt the future and then it later happen. Can you still still say those are memories of the past smushed together???

thats a tough Q, dreams come as memeories of the past but not all, that i am sure coz it has happened to me, dreaming of some place i have never been to, only to find it in reality after years. i personally believe that there are dreams that are innfluenced by the devil, instilled of God and dreams of our mind.many pipo agree just with the last one but i think that is not complete reality.
