That is absolut nonsense!! Perhpas it seems women have to work harder than men that is only becuase of the way out culture and tardition is fashioned more favourably to men. This is such a wild subject that I cannot even beigin to explain it to you...

Once again another one of those subjects thats been defined by time and the difference between men and women. Men are naturally workers so if you present me with a man and a woman so I employ one. I might just say I will take the man coz i know he wont take matenity leave but if its a woman she really has to out-weight the mans advantage. You see where am coming from. We are all equal in the sight of God and we have advantages as well as disadvantages.
All I can say is, men can't live without women and vise versa so we should appreciate each other just the way we are. The differences between us are what make us tick. Women are not better than men and men are not better than women. We're all ailke through His eyes.

Kalibur you'll be interested to know that where i work, there is a deliberate policy to employ women to the extent that if a Man and Woman obtain similar rating in an interview, the woman must be chosen.

However the post newspaper of today has an article that suggests that it is an insult to meritious Ladies who are competent and aggressive and who can actually take on men on a "level playing field."

i would as such concur with the statement that we both live of each other, that is actual and factual.

I agree with bites and parts of almost all the statements made.
The fact that I am a female, I am obliged to agree that men and women should be equal.

To start with we have our different physical capabiliities for that same reason of us not being alike, which I acutally like,
but having said that women or men who want to do the "traditional " roles of the opposite sex, should be allowed, without being judged by gender,
but instead capability.

When we start to look at who and wat gender did wat , we start to bring into question the issue of marginalisation. by this i mean its wrong to judge work done in terms of gender. instead we shud aprreciate that both male or female complement each other in many scores.

mabwelekete, I think you ve missed the point, even the bible somehow is clear. It emphasizes that a man would be the head of the household and that the wife must subdue to the Husband and the man must love and respect the wife.
