Roman tells us that
God loved Isaac and hated Esau even before they were born. it goes on to say, it is therefore not for him that willeth nor him that runneth but God who shows mercy. He will have mercy on thiose he choses to have mercy and those that he wants he will harden their hearts. In revelation we are told that names were written in the book of life from the foundation of the Earth.

Bwanjians, please what are your comments?? Is does predestination really exist and if does, how can we explain John 3:16 which again say whosever believes willhave eternal life?

Good topic but i will keep my mouth shut about this because i might end up saying something that will add an unforviable sin to my already superfilled sins of wtf limited edition with 5.1 dolby sound dvd which will be played onjudgement day. I will make an assertion with no back up but maybe the book of life is a living document that changes constantly. If it is not then i will keep my mouth shut before i rant into dangerous blasphemy waters.

There is no predestination!
What is there is the out come of pipoz choices and deeds.Eze 33 says as a watch man the pipo of God nust warn their friends about the denger/consequences of the actions.that is if a soul sins and does not repent it will be destroyed, but one repents and takes heed of the warnig he hsall live.John 3vs 16 clarifies this, with the phrase whosoever believes.
God is all knowing but does not interfare withour choices, he know the future but will give every person the chnace to choose what they want.
Because God hates sin and disobedience he will not be happy with one who likes doing this and many other traits that oppose him.The bible even says hell fire was prepared for the deveil and his angles, but if you will be the devils aid you will join also.
He aslo has the right to pardon who he wants, he know who can be helped and who is beyond redemtion, so he has the final say in short.But even so he provides oppotunities to every one.That is why in Mat 24vs14 christ is quotes as saying the gospel shall be preached to the ends of the world as a witness and then the end shall come, so everyone will have a chance to hear the word and decide.
All of us are written in the book of life, it when we sin that we are removed from the book.So those who will be saved would have been wriiten from the fondations of the earth because they will not be removed.

Thank you very much for this explanation. But please read Revelation 17:8-11 and explain to me what the Bible is trying to tell us when it says, " .. those whose names have not been written in the book of life from the foundation of the earth"
