Bwanji Social Issues - Part 1: Dealing with Enemies.

This topic is first in what I call Bwanji Social Issues. It will discuss pressing social issues affecting Bwanji. The aim is for us to all discuss important issues that are affecting us, with a view of learning something from one another. I have identified about 10 topics that are crucial. The topic for Part 1 is Dealing with Disputes and Possible Enmity.

There's a Russian saying " Let your enemy in, so you can keep him out".

<u> My questions to fellow Bwanjians are:</u>

1. Do you have any disputes or serious enmity in your real life and/or at Bwanji, that you have had difficult resolving?

2. How do you deal with people who always seem to focus on the wrong end of your view, or appear bent on becoming your enemy? And what advice would you give others?

3. And for Christians, is it wrong to pronounce curses (as in God&#039;s judgement) on people who have done you serious wrong or want to destroy you?

First of all cho, I think the name enemy is too strong!!!! Yes it&#039;s normal to have enemies, but I have none on bwanji. Or maybe u meant dispute on bwanji...as far as I know, an enemy is someone who strongly hurt you, either physically, mentally, socially, or financially. I don&#039;t think we have any of that on bwanji.

Cho personally I don&#039;t think anyone on bwanji has an enemy--we do fight, but a simple fight for misundertanding doesn&#039;t result in enemies. What exatly are u trying to get people to think cho???? I will tell you something, right now, I have no enemy in my real life---I never had one before. There are people that I don&#039;t like--few people that I really hate. Still I don&#039;t call them my enemies. An enemy for me is someone, given the chance to kill him or her u do it without hesitating....thank God I have not reached to that extent in my life.

I personally think it was wrong to have a topic with that title--it&#039;s like u are encouraging people to have enemies. As I said, we all have quarrels and fights in our lives, it doesn&#039;t mean those we fight with should be our enemies......
